Retailer performance status

Retailer performance status provides you with information about the performance status of your retailer account. This status includes strikes, policy violations and quality scores. It helps you to get an overview of performance related data about your retailer account.

When to use this API

  • Track in which weeks you received a strike.

  • Discover areas of improvement to prevent future policy violations.

  • Monitor your overall and fulfilment-specific quality scores to maintain platform benefits.

How your performance has impact at bol

Your performance is evaluated based on three components:

  • Strikes

  • Policy Points

  • Quality Score

Strikes

Strikes reflect how well you met bol’s service standards over the last 22 definitive weeks. In short:

  • You can receive a strike for failing to meet service norms.

  • After 7 strikes, your retailer account will be permanently closed.

Use this information to assess risk and take preventive action.

Policy points

Every retailer account starts with 100 policy points. Violations of bol’s platform policies reduce this number.

  • If your account reaches 0 points, it will be banned.

  • Violations expire after 1 year, and the deducted points are restored.

Quality Score

The Quality Score is a score between 0 and 100 that indicates how likely a customer is to have an optimal shopping experience when ordering from you.

Your overall Quality Score is calculated across three distinct shipping methods:

  • Own shipping (Dutch: Eigen verzendwijze): Performance for orders you ship and handle yourself.

  • Logistics via bol (Dutch: Lvb - Logistiek via bol): Performance for orders where bol manages the logistics and warehousing.

  • Shipping via bol (Dutch: Vvb - Verzenden via bol): Performance where shipping labels and transport are handled through bol.
