Supplier overview

This guide is for suppliers — first-party vendors whose products bol purchases wholesale and sells to customers. As a supplier you integrate with bol to deliver and maintain product information.

Please make sure that you have read and understood the Terms of Service before connecting.

What suppliers integrate with

As a supplier you can use these endpoints, which are both part of the Retailer API:

  • Product Content — deliver and maintain the content (attributes, descriptions, assets) of your products.

  • Products — work with product identifiers, assets, ratings and ranking.

Suppliers who also advertise on bol can additionally use the Advertising API. If you have an advertiser ID, see Advertising overview.

Get started

  1. Authenticate. Create your API credentials via the supplier portal: Authentication for Suppliers.

  2. Get to know the basics. Review the shared Key concepts, Conventions and Rate limiting.

  3. Understand asynchronous processing. Many calls are processed asynchronously — see Process status.

  4. Start building. Begin with Product Content, then work with Products.

Supplier integration is expected to be available from August 2026 (date subject to change). This documentation is published ahead of release so you can start preparing your integration.
