White Spots

White spots are items that customers in the Netherlands and Belgium are searching for but cannot yet find on bol. They highlight products or categories with unmet customer demand, enabling partners to optimize assortment coverage and capture additional sales opportunities.

White Spots Export API endpoint

  • Get white spots export: Retrieves csv file with product title, EAN, brand, category, potential score and average market price for all white spots.

Field Description

Product Title

The descriptive name or title of the product. This is a standard product attribute used for identification and display.

EAN

The EAN number associated with this product.

Brand

The brand name associated with the product. Some items are associated with a brand. For certain brands, you may need to request selling rights before you can sell them.

Product Category

The specific category or class to which the product belongs within bol’s classification system. Products on bol are categorized in a tree-like structure, and this field represents the detailed classification. In the export, this is often labeled as "Category".

Potential Score

A numerical score indicating the estimated sales potential or market opportunity for this specific product on bol. A higher score typically signifies a greater unmet demand or significant sales opportunity. The potential score (0 - indefinite) is determined based on various factors, including market relevance, Google search volume, and customer visits.

Average Market Price

The average price charged by other sellers for this product. This average price is based on prices from sellers outside of bol.

The data is being updated every week on Tuesday around 08:00 Amsterdam time.
