The Economic Operators API has been released to comply with the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA). This API provides retailers with the necessary tools to manage economic operators, allowing them to create, update, delete, and link operators to product offers in compliance with EU regulations. Each retailer is responsible for managing their own economic operators, which are not shared between accounts. Core functionalities are as follows:
| As of 1 February 2025, bol will enforce that all offers listed on the platform must be linked to a VALID economic operator. Retailers are required to ensure that their offers comply with this regulation, as any offers linked to an INVALID or deleted operator may be unpublished. |
