Retailer information

This functionality provides you comprehensive insights on your potential competitors. It helps you to dive into specific aspects of your competitors’ businesses.

Get retailer information by retailer id

The Get retailer information by retailer id endpoint provides detailed information about a specific retailer within the bol.com platform, including customer ratings and reviews. Use this endpoint by specifying a retailerId from the Get a list of competing offers by EAN endpoint or by using current to retrieve information about your own retailer account.

  • Retailer name and ID.

  • Company name of the retailer

  • KVK Number: A unique company registration number in the Netherlands, included in the response for Dutch retailers.

  • VAT Number: The retailer’s tax identification number for VAT, provided for Dutch retailers.

  • Registration date.

  • The retailer is a top seller or not.

  • Customer ratings for a retailer derived from the following factors:

    • Service provided by the retailer in the last three months.

    • Product information provided by the retailer.

    • Time taken by the retailer to deliver the product.

    • Shipping details provided by the retailer.

  • Customer reviews for a retailer derived from the following factors:

    • Number of positive customer reviews.

    • Number of negative customer reviews.

    • Number of neutral customer reviews.

    • Percentage of customers that rated the retailer either neutral or positive during the rating method period.

    • Total amount of customer reviews during the rating method period.

A retailer account is valid only in one country.
By default, the retailerRating field is based on the ratings and reviews from the last three months. However, if sufficient data is not gathered in the last three months, then all available reviews are taken into consideration.
